Financial Aid
This booklet prepared by the New Mexico State University Indian Resources Development lists sources of financial aid for Native American college students and potential college students. It does not list every source, but it can be a beginning point in the search for funds, which will finance your education.
Eligibility, requirements, and deadlines are specific for every scholarship listed. As this is only an informative guide, we strongly urge you to contact potential sources for further information and requirements. IRD hopes that this booklet will help you in reaching your educational and career goals.
Another valuable resource is the Scholarship Page from University of New Mexico (UNM), which is regularly updated by staff at American Indian Student Services (AISS) at UNM. They list institutional, private, and tribal scholarships and update it based on the time of year (fall, summer, and spring).
