Resources for Native Americans at Colleges and Universities in NM
The first year of college is exciting as you familiarize yourself with a new campus. You will discover new clubs, programs, and friends. The programs, or offices, on campus can help you succeed in college by providing opportunities for you to gain new skills and experiences through professional development workshops or tutoring. They also can provide tips and resources of how you can pay for college. Most colleges and universities also have Native American support centers or other multicultural offices that assist minority students.
Following is a list of programs that may assist Native American students at New Mexico colleges and universities. Please be aware that the list does not include all programs and services available, but is an example of the kind of support you may find.
